Facebook is a fantastic tool for any blogger.
Really freaking fantastic.
It’s a great way to meet people, promote your stuff and build your brand. You can create a page or a group to share your latest blog posts, comment on other pages, share relevant content, add friends and join groups to amplify your reach.
But here’s the thing, there a lot of groups out there that aren’t really beneficial. Like the ones with no purpose or direction meant for just link dropping. Or the ones only meant to promote the group owner’s posts. #Lame. Or there are the ones that are just filled with spam… There are good ones out there for promoting your stuff. But sometimes, you need a little more depth.
There are Facebook groups for bloggers that do more than just promote a link or two. These groups I like to call Premium Facebook Groups. The even cooler thing is… I have 16 of them to share with you! I’ve included my favorite features of each group as well as the number of members to give you an idea of what you’ll find. But please know, the size of the group does not indicate its value!
Want all of the premium Facebook groups featured below in a handy daily schedule format? It’s in my exclusive resource library. You can sign up to get the password right here!
For Love + Money (8,547 members)
Caitlin Bacher hosts this lovely group focused on building a business you love and making money while doing it. The wall is open for discussion, not promotion. If you’re looking to promote though, you’re in luck. There are once per week threads for social follows and promoting each other. My favorite thing about this group is how helpful its members are. Seriously, you can post a question and get several honest and helpful answers within a few minutes!
#HeartHustlers (4,608 Members)
Zach Spuckler is the founder of Heart Hustlers, a group for anyone who runs their business with their heart first. There are only 3 simple rules: Be nice, don’t spam and give before you take. There are weekly threads to share motivation, promote and more. My favorite part of this group is the podcast that goes along with it.
Blog Babes (1,119 Members)
This group has an open discussion forum which is great for asking for advice when you need it. My favorite thing about this group is that there are lots of opportunities for collaborating with other bloggers and even businesses.
Blog Beautiful (4,867 Members)
The community behind Design Your Own Lovely Blog is a great network and learning environment. My favorite part of this group is the Tuesday thread. You get to connect with others in your niche. That’s such a huge help!
Blog + Biz BFFs (10,797 Members)
Melyssa Griffin of the Nectar Collective heads up this community of bloggers and entrepreneurs. You can always ask questions if need be, but my favorite part of this group is the collaboration thread. I’ve been able to work with graphic designers and authors in exchange for beta testing or a review while also finding contributors for my group boards.
Blogging On Your Own Terms (4,904 Members)
I’ve been a member of this group for over a year now. I remember when Daniela had around <500 members. It’s always been good valuable stuff here. A great group for beginners or those needing to find focus in their blogging journey. My favorite part about this group is the overall value of the group. Daniela is a real person with real insight and not too busy to interact on a thread. Seriously! It’s so important to see “the face” active in the group too. There’s also a 10 day blog makeover challenge you can join for free. So subscribe to her newsletter to keep in the loop.
Screw The Nine To Five (13,890 Members)
As the group description states, this group is for people who get it to come together. “For those who are hell bent on taking their 9 to 5s and screwing them.” The wealth of information shared and discussed here is immeasurable. You’ll learn from others about click funnels, freelancing, social media algorithms and more. My favorite part is celebrating with other members when they’ve kicked their 9 to 5 to the curb. Someday I’ll do that too 😉
Savvy Business Owners (7,420 Members)
Savvy is specifically for female entrepreneurs. It’s a wonderful place to share successes, failures, tips and tricks. As well as asking questions and getting feedback. My favorite aspect of this group is Fist Bump Friday where members get to give each other virtual fist bumps in regards to successes that week.
Persuasion Nation (973 Members)
A mastermind group for online entrepreneurs, this group may seem small in size, but it’s very engaged. My favorite part of this group is the Wednesday freebie thread. You can share your own freebies with the group or just browse the thread for tons of great freebies for bloggers. I’ve packed my binder with so many great resources thanks to this thread!
Smart Passive Income Community (23,738 Members)
Pat Flynn is the guru of gurus. He hosts a successful podcast, Smart Passive Income. His motto is to work hard today so you don’t have to tomorrow. The Facebook community is for online entrepreneurs to network together and learn from each other. My favorite part of this group is Free Speech Friday. Anything goes promotion wise and you can find all kinds of things or just promote the heck out of your own content.
Creative Superheroes (1,856 Members)
Specifically aimed at creative female entrepreneurs, Creative Superheroes is a fun and vibrant community of women. Allison Marshall shares with such transparency that I often find myself going on the group just to see what she’s been up to. Promo Tuesdays are always fun, but so are the random threads. For example, one this morning was to share a photo of your pet. Great way to connect on a different level!
My Pro Blog + Biz (1,245 Members)
A place for bloggers and biz owners who want to build pro brands online to get smart, sleaze-free support + advice while forming sincere friendships. My favorite thread is the Help & Collaboration thread.
Badass Solopreneur Society (2,853 Members)
Dre knows her stuff when it comes to branding. Her website is chock full of free resources and “down & dirty guides.” The Society is a support space for solopreneurs to get help and support while building relationships.
Courage To Earn (914 Members)
A group for courageous bloggers on the mission to earn an income with their blogs. I love that it is always brimming with inspiration and affirmation!
Creative Entrepreneurs By Marketing Creativity (2,600 Members)
This group is home to creative online entrepreneurs as a space to boost marketing efforts and connect with like-minded individuals. The Wednesday shared wisdom thread is my absolute favorite, so many tips and tricks shared every week!
Freelance To Freedom (3,857 Members)
This group is an extension of the Freelance To Freedom Project, which is all about defining what freedom means to you and providing the tools to get to that point. The Friday promo thread is a great way to connect with other bloggers and find deals on product offerings from freelancers.
Now that’s a ton of great groups with an infinite amount of value to offer. But how will you keep track of it all? Well, don’t worry about, I’ve got you covered. Just click below to download a free daily schedule for each of the groups mentioned above. This way you can stay on top of things and know when and where to share daily! The free download is part of my exclusive resource library. Just click below to get the goods fo free 🙂
Don’t miss out on that! I’ve organized it by day and included links so you can quickly engage in the best Facebook groups for bloggers. I use the schedule every time I need to promote the crap out of something AND when I want to see what other bloggers are to. Seriously, immeasurable value in every single one of these groups.
