Bryan won a pair of tickets for a Mahoning Valley Scrappers game at Eastwood Field in Niles Ohio. I checked out the event calendar and discovered that Wednesdays were 25 cent hot dog days. So we went on a date armed with $10! We shared a coke (full price!) and 8 hot dogs between the two of us. Sampled some local business foods and spun a wheel for a prize and left with $1 left. Not too bad.
The stadium is very nice! Not at all what I was expecting.

It was such a great date night. Even if we had paid for our tickets, it still would have been under $20 for us both. Check out your local minor leagues for fun events in addition to the game. There’s so much more to it than just the game!
