Another post in a series of posts about the gifts we made for our Frugal Christmas. This post is focusing on a gift I made for my husband.
Doctor Who Christmas Ornaments
Yeah, we are geeks. Bryan actually has a shelf just for geekdom miscellaneous that I’ve allowed to be in the living room. I used to hate having that stuff around. I was one of those wives. But then… I started liking it too *gasp*
So what? We have a shelf with a Tardis and a few Sonic Screwdrivers on it. So what if I was the one that bought them for him? Ha ha ha… but anyways, my husband is happy and that’s what matters.
Since he’s a Doctor Who fan and I was on a mission for a frugal Christmas, I decided to make him something. I browsed online for hours looking for ideas or just the right project and found it!
A wonderful artist named StevenRayBrown on DeviantArt made these Doctor Who Christmas ornaments. Aren’t they awesome?!
All I did was print them out on card stock and cut along the lines. I then sent them through my laminator, trimmed, hole punched and tied with twine. The artwork is super cute and fun too.
You can download the images here:
Make sure to thank him for his work. He’s great!
