[dropcap]I[/dropcap] have been using these gloves ever since I got them. They are intended for use with grilling, but I’ve used them for many things:
- As a pot holder to remove things from the oven
- To open jars
- As a trivet under hot dishes
I really like the little heart shaped nubs all over the gloves. They help give grip, which is why I tried them on opening a stuck jar lid. They are made of a silicone like plastic. When you’re wearing them and holding something hot, you barely feel warmth, if any at all. Both my small hands and my husband’s much larger hands can use the gloves. Of course there’s a bit more empty space when I wear them.
These are great to have in the junk drawer for just about anything. They’ve replaced my pot holders. They would also be a good addition to a grilling set, as they were intended. At the time of this posting they are only $15, which I think is very worth it! If you’d like to pick up a pair, they can be found on Amazon here. <<–affiliate link, I will receive a small commission if you choose to purchase them.
