One of the most crucial things you can do for yourself when things get rough is to surround yourself with the right people. You want to be around people who are available, loving, honest, and caring.

A little love always makes the terrible days look a little brighter, so you need them to be loving. They must be compassionate since having someone who shares your concern for your well-being is beneficial.

However, you also need them to be truthful. You require a truth-teller who can look you in the eye. Their candour can be the one piece of knowledge you require to get through the difficult period.
