Visit Michigan’s Adventure
If you are looking for an excuse to visit Michigan, their amusement and waterpark is a great one. It’s a great day out and features over 60 rides, slides, and attractions, including seven roller coasters. Visit over a day and enjoy both land rides and water rides, perfect when there is a large group of you. Michigan’s Adventure is the state’s largest amusement park so head on over and have an adrenaline-filled time.
Explore the shipwrecks dotted around Michigan
If you enjoy diving and exploring you are going to love Michigan’s shipwrecks. The great lakes have many shipwrecks that you can dive down and see. Book in advance and a tour company will take you on a trip to see the different wrecks that have been drowned by the sea. As well as seeing the shipwrecks, you’ll get to swim with a whole array of marine life and enjoy the boat journey on the sea. If you don’t enjoy diving, you can go on a snorkeling trip and if you don’t enjoy being in the water you could view from the glass bottom part of some of the boats.
Explore the unique landscapes
Enjoy traveling around Michigan and seeing the different landscapes that surround the state. There are plenty of opportunities for you to capture incredible photos and hike across the different terrains. If you can, make sure you head to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, on the western Lake Michigan coastline. Some say this is the most stunning destination in America. If you need some inspiration, simply Google Michigan landscapes and you will see a whole plethora of stunning images and places you should visit.
Enjoy their cuisine
This is something you should do when visiting any new destination! Everywhere you visit, always spend time enjoying their local cuisine. Each destination has different ways of cooking food, different local ingredients that they can cook with, and new foods that you may have never tried altogether. In Michigan, you must try their Detroit pizza, Better Made potato chips, pasties, and Mackinac Island fudge.
