If you and your partner are getting tired of generic date nights and have seemingly fallen into a dull routine, it’s time to spice things up with a trip to one of the best couple’s destinations on earth: Universal Studios.
The park is filled with thrilling rides, games, and tons of other activities that are perfect for friends, family, and, yes, couples. But if you decide to go, there are a few things you absolutely have to do while you’re there.
Ride in the Front
While waiting for the front seats on every ride might not be possible unless you plan on standing in line literally all day long, you need to do it at least once. When both of you find a ride that looks like it will be a blast, the extra waiting time will be worth it. If you’re lucky, you’ll even be able to see your pictures at the end of the ride!
Get a Caricature
You’ll need some sort of souvenir to take home with you, and while getting a wand at Olivander’s or a dinosaur tooth at Jurassic Park is incredibly cool, they can’t quite capture the moment like a professional caricature can. These draws exaggerate your features and give you a more cartoonish look while capturing the details of your face with pinpoint accuracy. Getting one drawn as a couple will give you the perfect keepsake once it’s time to leave.
Have a Date at the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium
After a day full of walking around the park and waiting in line for rides, the two of you are bound to be hungry. Reserving a table at the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium and Savory Feast Kitchen will make for the perfect date to end your day at Universal Studios. You can get a wide variety of different dishes at this steampunk-themed restaurant, including pasta, hamburgers, and tons of other entrees, but the real fun comes when you order dessert.
They have some of the best tasting and most unique shakes in the entire park, like the red velvet, Heavenly Hazelnut, Marshmallow Crisp, and more.
A Date to Remember
Eventually, the fun must come to an end. You and your partner will need to say goodbye to Universal and go back to your home, your life, and your jobs, whether you work at a place like The Institute of Natural Health or something like an accounting firm. But you’ll be going home with memories to last a lifetime.
