4. The Great Pocono Pumpkin Festival

Looking for some pumpkins? You can find them in the Country Junction – the world’s largest general store. This store is visited all year round by people from all over the world, but, it is especially loved during the fall season. Why? Because it hosts the Great Pocono Pumpkin Festival. You and your little ones will have a blast here – that’s for sure. While you eat in some great restaurants or rest in coffee shops, they can dig for buried treasure, play an escape room game, go on a Big Foot adventure, etc.

In this store, you can also buy many fall and Halloween-related items. They have everything from orange food to scary décor. Moreover, in this store, you can also shop for some great furniture and household knick-knacks that are usually discounted at this time of the year. So, prepare to shop ’till you drop. 5. Allegheny National Forest 

Of course, festivals and shows are not the only reasons to visit Pennsylvania this fall, no. But, the fall foliage might just be. If you like being active and reconnecting with nature while traveling, you will enjoy the Kinzua Valley Trail. And, if you prefer something shorter, that is, something that doesn’t include backpacking, you can consider driving along the National Longhouse Scenic Byway.

This is a place where parents come to take a break from their children or simply a place where only adults gather to try some wine and enjoy their time. Here, you can partake in many annual traditions or you can try something new – the Adult Trick or Treat event. This event lasts until the end of October, and it provides all visitors with Halloween-themed pairing stations. At those stations, you will be able to try different wines, eat fall foods, and shop for some souvenirs.
