Looking for a cheap date night idea? Here’s a creative way to plan a cheap date, the Date Jar printable version. I’ve compiled a big list of date ideas that are fun and won’t hurt the budget and created a nice little printable to share!

You can keep a little date jar on a shelf for date inspiration when it’s time to reconnect or for whenever you’re just plain bored. Every date in this printable is also a frugal idea. There are only a handful of dates that will cost anything at all! Because I’m Cheap πŸ˜‰

Ready to make your own?

Instructions:

Step 1:

Gather supplies. You’ll need to print the Date Jar Printables (I made it myself AND it’s free!) These are the actual dates:Β Date Night SlipsΒ And this is the label for the jar with instructions:Β Date Jar Label

Step 2:

Cut out the label and attach it to your jar. I just use tape. Doesn’t need to be fancy!

Step 3:

Cut out the date slips. Optionally I’ve included a blank page for you to write in any of your own ideas!

Step 4:

Fold up the date slips and fill up the jar.

Step 5:

You’re done! Now it’s ready to use. When you’re looking for date inspiration, just pick a random slip out of the jar and have some frugal fun together πŸ™‚

    I loved this! Your list has a lot of fun ideas I haven’t seen before. Very different from others on Pinterest. I had never heard of geocaching before and can’t wait to try it with my man! Thanks for this, just in time for V-day. =]

    I love this idea! We always struggle when it comes time to decide what to do, but when we don’t have a sitter we have a million date night ideas! This is perfect, and fun too!

    Oh my gosh this is such a cute idea! My boyfriend and I always try to mix it up for date nights but then we end up bailing on our original plan and usually end up doing some sort of dinner and a movie – either in or out! haha
